Still a bit too timid. This afternoon, I was saying I’d go long on oil and enjoy some funding fees while I’m at it, seemed pretty good. But I just couldn’t shake off the uneasiness, so I placed a short order at $97.9. When I woke up for the first time tonight, I saw it got filled, and oil was around $94 at the time. Felt pretty happy, thinking even if the funding fees were a bit high, it’s no big deal. But when I fully woke up, I realized CLUSDT was already close to $97, and USOIL had surpassed $99. No idea what’s going on here. As expected, the ceasefire between the U.S. and Iran isn’t that simple. Then I checked, and the funding rate had dropped to -0.37%, which didn’t seem worth it anymore. Closed the short quickly. Now there’s a $2.3 price difference. Should I go long? Still feeling a bit timid. Damn, why didn’t I go long this afternoon? Whatever, I’ll keep shorting at the highs. If it gets filled, great; if not, so be it.
