[Sources: US-Iran Talks May Last Several Days] Odaily Planet Daily News – According to Pakistani government sources, US and Iranian delegations will hold 'direct' talks in Islamabad aimed at reaching a 'permanent ceasefire' agreement. The talks, scheduled to begin on Saturday, may extend beyond one day. Pakistan is preparing to host the negotiations. The meeting will take place at a heavily guarded military facility organized by the Pakistani military. Sources indicate that the talks have no fixed timetable and will include both direct and indirect interactions between the delegations. 'The two sides will also hold face-to-face discussions and separate meetings with the Pakistani side.' Given the 'complexity of the issues,' the discussions may last 'several days.' However, sources noted that for security reasons, the direct talks may not exceed two to three days. (Jin10)
