[Independent Miner Discovers Bitcoin Block 944,306 with '1-in-300-Year' Probability, Earning 3.128 BTC] BlockBeats News, April 9: According to a report by The Block, an independent Bitcoin miner successfully mined a Bitcoin block with an extremely low probability earlier on Thursday, earning the full block subsidy and transaction fee rewards. Data from the block explorer Mempool shows that the miner used CKpool's solo mining software to mine block 944,306, earning a total of 3.128 BTC (approximately $222,012). This includes a block subsidy of 3.125 BTC (approximately $221,800) and transaction fees of 0.003 BTC (approximately $212). CKpool developer Con Kolivas posted on the X platform, stating: 'Congratulations to this miner for mining the 313th solo block with just 70TH of hash power. A miner of this scale has only about a 1-in-100,000 chance of mining a block each day, which means this kind of event happens on average once every 300 years.'
