[Jefferies: Fragile Middle East Ceasefire Expected to Hold]
Odaily Planet Daily News – Jefferies global economist Mohit Kumar stated in a report that although the Middle East ceasefire agreement is fragile, it is expected to hold. Kumar said: 'We have reached a stage where both sides want a ceasefire, as continuing the war would have negative impacts on both parties.' Kumar noted, 'Trump wants to reach an agreement because he lacks support from his core "Make America Great Again" base to continue the war.' Meanwhile, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps is struggling due to economic devastation, which could pave the way for subsequent uprisings. He stated: 'Considering the interests of both sides, we believe this unstable ceasefire will hold.' (Jin10)
