UAE and Kuwait accuse Iran of launching public attacks after ceasefire
Odaily Planet Daily reported that the United Arab Emirates accused Iran of launching open missile and drone attacks after announcing a two-week ceasefire. The UAE Ministry of Defense posted on social media: "Since the ceasefire came into effect, Iran has openly launched attacks, launching a total of 17 ballistic missiles and 35 drones, and its air defense system has successfully responded." The Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense also accused Iran of continuing to launch attacks against it after the ceasefire, stating that Wednesday morning's attack "clearly demonstrates its continued targeting of the country's security and critical infrastructure. It is currently unclear whether the reports of Iran's ongoing attacks are a response to Israel's attack on Hezbollah in Lebanon, or if they are aimed at continuing to demonstrate its threat to the region. Since the ceasefire, there have been several other attacks in the region, including an attack on a crucial Saudi east-west oil pipeline that transports crude oil from the Gulf to the Red Sea for export.
