[Think Tank Experts Estimate U.S. Military Burns $500 Million Daily in Iran]
Golden Finance reports that as of April 8, since the U.S. launched military strikes on Iran at the end of February, the cost of the conflict is estimated to have reached tens of billions of dollars. Think tank experts estimate that the U.S. is burning $500 million daily in the Iran conflict.
According to British sources, Iran has prioritized striking U.S. military radar, communication systems, and aerial refueling aircraft. Known U.S. losses include: E-3 'Sentry' AWACS, AN/TPY-2 radar, F-15E 'Strike Eagle' fighter jets, A-10 'Warthog' attack aircraft, C-130 'Hercules' transport aircraft, over 10 MQ-9 'Reaper' drones, as well as three F-15E fighter jets and one KC-135 'Stratotanker' refueling aircraft downed by 'friendly fire.'
Analysts state that the E-3 AWACS and two radar systems are the most critical assets destroyed, with replacement costs being extremely high. McCaskill noted that if the conflict continues, shortages of key materials could worsen. A former senior U.S. military official pointed out that most of the U.S. asset losses are due to 'self-inflicted' misuse of resources.
On March 19, Trump requested an additional budget of approximately $200 billion, which was met with skepticism from some lawmakers. (CCTV Finance)
