Iran's official media reported a statement from the Revolutionary Guard, which stated that if the U.S. attacks civilian facilities, Iran will not hesitate to respond in kind. The U.S. President said that if Iran refuses to open the Strait of Hormuz, he will strike Iran's power plants and bridges within hours. The statement read: 'We will target the infrastructure of the U.S. and its partners, rendering them and their allies unable to access the region's oil and gas for many years to come.' The statement also added: 'U.S. leaders lack the capability to calculate which critical assets will fall within the range of our warplanes if they attack our infrastructure. If U.S. forces cross our red lines, our response will extend beyond this region.'
