In previous cycles, people would preach to favor new protocols over the older ones. There's no selling pressure from bagholders, alignment with newer narratives, and more excitement. That sentiment's flipped. We’ve seen some of the most hyped protocols going down only since TGE. More mature protocols have product-market fit, revenue, and most of the heavy selling is behind them. The VCs have dumped. The unlocks are done. With this many alts fighting for liquidity, people favor what they feel is safe. Older protocols are more battle-tested.
