[Resolv Labs Project Team Destroys 46 Million USR Tokens Held by Hacker Through Contract Upgrade, Reducing Actual Loss to $34 Million] According to Deep Tide TechFlow, on April 6, on-chain analyst Ember (@EmberCN) monitored that approximately an hour ago, the stablecoin protocol Resolv Labs executed a contract upgrade to destroy approximately 36.73 million USR tokens (held in the form of wstUSR) still in the attacker's address. Previously, on March 22, the attacker exploited a minting vulnerability to mint approximately 80 million USR tokens without collateral, of which about 34 million USR were sold off and exchanged for 11,409 ETH (approximately $24.48 million), currently stored at address 0x8ED...81C. The remaining 46 million USR tokens have now been destroyed by the project team through the contract upgrade from the attacker's address. Considering the above, the actual loss from this exploit has been reduced to approximately $34 million.
