I personally think, we're all making a living through trading, it's just that some folks only trade two or three times a year, or even less, while others might make two or three or more trades every single day.
Both groups share the same goal—to make money. As Deng Xiaoping said, 'It doesn't matter if a cat is black or white, as long as it catches mice, it's a good cat.' Trading is the same. Whether you're really making money or not, only you know.
If you can make money on your own, why care about what others say?
Life is meant to be lived for yourself, and the money you earn is for you to spend. If someone says you're bad at trading, as long as you're living well, who cares? Just hit them with, 'If you're so amazing, why aren't you the richest person in the world?' That kind of response is more than enough.
