[Each U.S. Special Operations Aircraft Destroyed in Iran Worth Over $100 Million]
Odaily Planet Daily News - According to the Wall Street Journal, the U.S. Air Force Special Operations Command stated that the MC-130J aircraft, which played a role in the mission to rescue the crew of the downed U.S. F-15E in Iran, is valued at over $100 million each. This aircraft model is designed to deploy troops into hostile areas and conduct evacuations, equipped with aerial refueling capabilities and advanced sensors for defense against anti-aircraft interceptions, including heat-tracking systems.
A U.S. official revealed that during this rescue operation, the U.S. military destroyed two MC-130J aircraft. U.S. officials did not specify the reasons behind the issues encountered by these aircraft. An Iranian senior official released photos of the burned wreckage of at least one aircraft. Iranian Parliament Speaker Ghalibaf posted on social media, stating: 'If the U.S. achieves three more such "victories," it will be completely destroyed.'
