[Iran Allows Iraqi Vessels to Use the Strait of Hormuz, Weekly Traffic Hits Post-War High]
Odaily Planet Daily News: Over the past two weeks, the number of transit vessels passing through the 'blocked' Strait of Hormuz has been steadily increasing. More and more vessels from friendly nations are navigating through the strait. According to Bloomberg, as traffic through the Strait of Hormuz gradually rebounded over the past week, the rolling seven-day average transit volume as of Friday reached its highest level since the outbreak of the war. An increasing number of vessels are crossing the strait, including some with no clear ties to Iran. Various countries are negotiating with Tehran to secure passage for their ships. Among the vessels that transited in the past day, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) carriers dominated, including one bound for India and others linked to Iran. Based on Bloomberg's calculations, a total of 13 vessels transited since Friday morning. According to ship tracking data compiled by Bloomberg, 10 of these exited the Persian Gulf, while 3 entered from international waters.
