In 2010, a Bitcoin Faucet website gave 5 bitcoins to each visitor (Figure 1). Back then, it barely caught anyone's attention. 16 years later, Twitter and Block founder Jack Dorsey is replicating this approach, planning to give away $1 million worth of BTC (around 15 coins) to global users on April 6. Publicly traded company Block currently holds a reserve of 8,883 BTC.
