Last week, I burned through my Claude subscription at lightning speed. Ended up sitting in the 'membership jail' for four days.
Originally, I planned to use OpenClaw to connect to Claude this week, just running Sonnet sparingly to save some usage. But after thinking it over, I decided to just delete the Claude API and switch to GPT and Kimi instead.
To be fair, when it comes to getting work done, Claude is definitely the most hassle-free. Whether it's Desktop or Claude Code, there's no need to maintain systems or fix issues—it’s ready to go straight out of the box.
The problem with OpenClaw is—it’s like opening your computer every day and spending two hours fixing the internet before you can even get online. Once in a while is fine, but when it becomes the norm, it’s just plain annoying.
All the tools are great, but if you can’t use them, they’re worthless. So moving forward, the focus will be on putting 90% of my energy into figuring out how to use models more effectively.
