This I whole heartedly agree with. I have no issue with regulated event contract markets, because they CANNOT have these disgusting types of markets. But it is no surprise offshore operators with no standards, think it is ok to create markets on the life of a downed American hero. This is the kind of shit that we can ALL agree is unacceptable. It’s why it’s ILLEGAL for US exchanges to do, and it’s why by the book operators don’t even go near this line - because they have some god damn standards! If you hate people profiteering from war and death - you clean it up by enforcing “US nexus laws” from the CFTC against these offshore operators. That’s the only way to stop this heinous bullshit. While Polymarket took down this market, “sorry” is not enough in this case. No one with half a pulse would EVER think a market, on a downed pilot fighting for their lives behind enemy lines, was acceptable.(Adam Cochran (adamscochran.eth))
