Veo 3.1 can generate 8-second, 720p resolution videos, with free users allowed to create 10 videos per month, AI Pro subscribers up to 50 videos, and AI Ultra users up to 1,000 videos. The Lyria model can automatically generate 30-second or 3-minute music clips based on user-described styles, without requiring manual input of lyrics. Additionally, Vids has introduced customizable AI virtual avatar functionality, enabling avatars to maintain consistent appearance and voice across different scenes and interact with objects in the video. Google has also launched a complementary Chrome extension that supports quick screen recording and camera capture, along with a new feature for direct publishing to YouTube.
