[Ministry of Industry and Information Technology: Exploring innovative services such as 'Computing Power Bank' and 'Computing Power Supermarket' to support SMEs in depositing idle computing power resources]
The General Office of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has issued a special initiative to empower the development of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) through inclusive computing power. The initiative mentions the innovation of inclusive computing power service models. It aims to improve the SME section of China's computing power platform, the computing power resource docking section of the China SME Service Network, and the national computing power internet service node section (collectively referred to as the SME platform sections). These efforts will promote precise matching between SME demands and computing power resource supply, and implement flexible payment models such as billing by 'card hours,' 'core hours,' and tokens.
The initiative explores innovative services like 'Computing Power Bank' and 'Computing Power Supermarket,' supporting SMEs in depositing idle computing power resources and enabling flexible usage through cross-regional and cross-cycle scheduling. It also includes the implementation of an AI entrepreneurship support plan for SMEs, encouraging local authorities to provide subsidies such as 'computing power vouchers,' 'storage power vouchers,' and 'operation power vouchers' to SMEs aligned with industrial development goals via the SME platform sections, while simplifying the acquisition and usage processes.
