[Delphi Digital Co-Founder Criticizes Circle for Not Freezing USDC Transfers in Drift Attack Incident] Foresight News reports that Delphi Digital co-founder Tommy Shaughnessy criticized Circle in a tweet for not freezing USDC transfers during the Drift attack incident. 'Circle is aware of USDC's centralization yet chooses to let funds flow freely. I like USDC, but we can freeze funds flowing to North Korea.' Earlier, Foresight News reported that on-chain investigator ZachXBT tweeted that Circle was slow to act during the Drift attack incident. Millions of USDC were transferred via CCTP from Solana to Ethereum over several hours without being frozen, allowing the funds to be successfully moved.
