Today's strategy-side data: POLYMARKET has started charging fees on many events. A lot of people are confused about the relationship between absolute fees and fee rates. As mentioned in a previous post, if it's absolute fees (same share amount), then a 50/50 split has the highest fees. If it's fee rates (same monetary amount), the lower the price, the higher the fee rate. There's also another catch: POLYMARKET deducts fees in shares when buying, but deducts in USDC when selling.
