China had established, via their control of Huawei, backdoor access in many of our important telecomm networks in Europe and the USA. Huawei was banned by the US govt several years ago, and Europe has also been trying to fix this mistake. In order to fully eliminate Huawei's advantage in 5G networks, it is critical that the USA and Europe have access to an American company that can compete and provide equivalent telecomm network gear. The best competitor we have is the merger between Hewlett-Packard and Juniper Network. This merger is critical to our ability to compete with Huawei/China in 5g network gear and the future of telecomm. For for some reason, there are people within the Deep State who are pushing against this and practicitiy fighting on behalf of Chinese interests in this matter.(Wall Street Mav)
