According to Bloomberg, Tether has let go of two precious metals executives who were recruited months ago from HSBC Holdings, including Vincent Domien, HSBC's former Global Head of Metals Trading, and Mathew O’Neill, a senior sales executive. The two had joined Tether with plans to help build a world-leading gold trading platform and advance its gold lending business. Tether currently holds approximately 140 tons of gold, making it one of the largest gold reserves outside of global banks and sovereign institutions, primarily used to support USDT and its gold-related token operations. The company stated it will continue optimizing operations with a streamlined team approach. https://(wublock123.com)/news/tether-lays-off-two-former-hsbc-metals-execs-58899
