The ADAPT project is coming at the right time to help Jamaica strengthen its food security, especially after recent hurricanes. Over the next five to six years, the project will support farmers across several parishes by introducing new technology, better farming techniques, and training, especially for our young people and students. A major focus will be on building more greenhouses to protect crops from bad weather and expanding cold storage so farmers don’t lose produce during gluts or after disasters.(Andrew Holness)
