[U.S. Secretary of State: Iran Will Never Be Allowed to Permanently Control the Strait of Hormuz] Reported by Jinse Finance on March 30, U.S. Secretary of State Rubio stated on the 30th that Iran will never be allowed to permanently control the Strait of Hormuz or establish a toll system. Rubio, during an interview on ABC's 'Good Morning America' television program, said that the U.S. aims to achieve its military objectives against Iran 'within weeks, not months.' He stated: 'He (U.S. President Trump) prefers a diplomatic approach. These (negotiation) efforts are still in their early stages. Some negotiations are underway, including through intermediaries.' Rubio added: 'But we must also be prepared for the possibility that these efforts (negotiations) might fail.' Iran, he said, 'is issuing threats to permanently control the Strait of Hormuz and establish a toll system, among other things. This will never be allowed to happen.'
