[Urumqi Public Security in Xinjiang Dismantles an Illegal Electronic 'Mining Machine' Repair Operation]
Foresight News reports that the Urumqi High-Tech Public Security Bureau announced that on March 25, officers from the Ergong Township Police Station successfully dismantled an illegal electronic 'mining machine' repair operation during a patrol of key areas within their jurisdiction. Upon on-site inspection, a warehouse in the Yuhang Road Small and Micro Enterprise Park was found to contain a large number of disassembled and to-be-repaired 'mining machine' devices, suspected of violating national regulations that comprehensively prohibit the production, sale, repair, leasing, and hosting of electronic 'mining machines' within the country.
In response to the illegal activities at this site, the Economic Crime Investigation Unit and officers from the Ergong Township Police Station conducted an on-site inventory of 310 'mining machine' devices awaiting repair, which were subsequently seized in accordance with the law. The individuals involved were ordered to immediately cease their illegal activities. The case has now been handed over to the relevant departments for further investigation and processing.
