Whoa! Big trouble ahead! Has Bitcoin's flaw been discovered?
Billionaire investor Chamath Palihapitiya issued a strong warning about Bitcoin.
He pointed out structural defects in Bitcoin,
mainly the lack of fungibility and privacy.
This makes it unable to meet the requirements for adoption by central banks,
and prevents it from becoming a structural reserve asset.
He compared Bitcoin to gold, emphasizing that gold ownership is hard to trace,
while Bitcoin's public ledger makes transaction history transparent.
This transparency hinders widespread adoption by institutions (like central banks),
limiting Bitcoin to ETFs and individual investors.
Other crypto assets, if they can solve these issues,
have the potential for 10x market cap growth.
But currently, related projects are small in scale, riddled with problems, and highly volatile.
Could this be why Wall Street was throwing crazy money at privacy coins like ZEC before?
