I had predicted before that the crypto space would slowly decline, but I didn’t expect several major exchanges to start offering stock and commodity contracts. The liquidity is weak—only a few assets have decent liquidity, but even that won’t last. Sooner or later, there won’t be good liquidity at all; it’s all just a phase before it collapses. The essence of the crypto space is that it can’t keep users around for too long. The stock market can keep an investor engaged for a lifetime, but the crypto space can’t keep crypto enthusiasts around forever. Either they get wrecked, or they choose to leave on their own.
