10:28am: On partial DHS shutdown Day 42, the House is now in recess subject to the call of the chair awaiting GOP leadership to announce its plans for how and when the House will take up the Senate-passed DHS funding bill to end the shutdown. Members have been advised by that "additional votes related to FY26 DHS Appropriations are possible today and throughout the weekend" and "are encouraged to remain in D.C."(Craig Caplan)
