House Ethics Cmte on its investigative hearing into allegations against Rep. Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick (D-FL) announced this morning: “After careful deliberation that lasted until well past midnight, the adjudicatory subcommittee found that Counts 1-15 and 17-26 of the Statement of Alleged Violations (SAV) had been proven by clear. Shortly after the House returns from the April recess, the full Committee will hold a hearing
to determine what, if any, sanction would be appropriate for the Committee to recommend.” https://ethics.house.gov/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/Press-Release-Rep.-Cherfilus-McCormick-3.27.26.pdf
