They noted that most crypto professionals tend to have a 'digital nomad' lifestyle, making them more mobile and more likely to leave. Shuyao mentioned that even though many people in the crypto industry buy property in Dubai, they often only live there for one or two months a year, mostly to take advantage of tax-free benefits. She revealed that during times of conflict, some wealthy companies in the industry would charter planes to evacuate people. If airspace was blocked due to missile threats, they would even arrange for employees to 'cross the border into Oman on foot and have private jets pick them up.'
