This is the first public event targeting the industry since BIT completed its brand upgrade. Cynthia Wu, co-founder and Chief Business Officer of BIT, stated that the approval of the US spot Bitcoin ETF in early 2024 is a key turning point for the industry to move towards institutionalization, and digital assets will be further incorporated into the asset allocation vision of mainstream institutions. With the accelerated entry of institutional funds, the market's requirements for platforms and infrastructure have significantly increased. Custody architecture, compliance system, and operational transparency have shifted from bonus points to entry barriers. Wendy Sun, Chief Brand Officer, stated that the transition from Matrixport to BIT reflects the group's strategic layout towards the future of digital finance.
