[Lavrov: Russia Has Not Provided Intelligence to Iran]
According to a report by Jinse Finance, on March 27, Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov stated in an interview that Russia has not provided intelligence to Iran. Lavrov mentioned that U.S. intelligence agencies accused Russia of allegedly assisting Iran in identifying the locations of U.S. military bases in the Middle East. He said that while Russia and Iran have indeed signed a military-technical cooperation agreement and Russia has supplied certain categories of military-use products to Iran, he denied the accusations of providing intelligence to Iran, calling them media 'hype.' He pointed out that everyone is aware of the coordinates of U.S. military bases in the Middle East, so Iran's attacks on U.S. bases are not surprising. Lavrov also noted that although the trilateral negotiations on the Ukraine issue have been suspended, Russia has already learned about the content of U.S.-Ukraine contacts. (CCTV)
