[U.S. Envoy Confirms Pakistan Acting as Mediator Between U.S. and Iran] According to a report by Jinse Finance, on March 27, U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff confirmed that the United States has been negotiating with Iran through Pakistan as a diplomatic channel. During a cabinet meeting held at the White House, Witkoff reported to President Trump, stating: "I can report to you today that we, along with your foreign policy team, have proposed a 15-point action list that forms the framework of a peace agreement. This list has been conveyed through the Pakistani government, which is acting as a mediator." Witkoff noted that, so far, the framework "has facilitated strong and positive signal exchanges and dialogue," but he declined to disclose the specific details of the terms, citing the sensitivity of diplomatic consultations. Witkoff also mentioned that Iran insists on its right to uranium enrichment. He stated that Iran has employed delaying tactics during the negotiations, repeatedly rejecting U.S. requests. (CCTV News)
