Not sure if it's Iran causing division or Trump causing division, but the messages coming from the two sides are completely different. On one hand, Trump says Iran is 'begging' for a deal and claims Iran has no chance to retaliate, while on the other hand, Iran is still expressing distrust toward the U.S., calling America's talk of negotiations nothing but deception.
Just recently, Iran stated that its assessment of the U.S.'s 15-point proposal is that it's unilateral and unfair, only serving the interests of the U.S. and Israel. For now, Iran is sticking to the five conditions it previously proposed and says no arrangements for negotiations have been made yet. At this stage, it seems there are no realistic plans for talks.
So, who's telling the truth, or maybe neither side is telling the truth?
What we can see for now is that the war isn't over yet—yesterday, Iran almost shot down a U.S. military fighter jet.
