The market is dropping again The Pentagon is working on military plans for a 'final strike' against Iran, which may include ground forces and large-scale bombing operations. U.S. officials have proposed 4 'final strike' options: 1. Invade or blockade Iran's main oil export hub, Kharg Island. 2. Invade Larak Island, which helps Iran strengthen its control over the Strait of Hormuz. 3. Seize the strategic Abu Musa Island and two smaller islands near the western entrance of the Strait of Hormuz, currently controlled by Iran but also claimed by the UAE. 4. Block or seize ships exporting Iranian oil on the eastern side of the Strait of Hormuz. Some U.S. officials believe these options could create greater leverage for President Trump.
