[Gitcoin: Users with funds on PGN must withdraw by April 20] Foresight News reports that Gitcoin tweeted, stating that users who still hold funds on the Public Goods Network (PGN) must withdraw them by 21:00 on April 20. Following the governance vote earlier this year (to transfer the remaining fees on PGN back to the Gitcoin Foundation treasury), any unclaimed funds will be moved to the Gitcoin Foundation treasury. Foresight News notes that PGN ceased operations in October 2024. To ensure users can safely retrieve their assets, the official team retained and modified the cross-chain bridge escrow functionality and deployed the BalanceClaimer contract. This contract allows users to directly claim funds left on PGN back to their Ethereum mainnet address, even after PGN is fully decommissioned.
