Iran rejects the U.S. proposal and lays out five conditions to end the imposed war
Iran has responded negatively to the U.S.'s plan to end the war, stating that a ceasefire will only happen on Tehran's own terms and timeline.
Iran will not let Trump decide when the war ends. The U.S. proposal is overly demanding and disconnected from the realities on the battlefield.
Five conditions:
1. The enemy (U.S. and its allies) must completely cease aggression and assassinations.
2. A concrete mechanism must be established to ensure that war will not be imposed on Iran again.
3. There must be clear and guaranteed war reparations.
4. The war must end on all fronts and include all relevant resistance forces in the region.
5. The international community must recognize that Iran's exercise of sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz is its natural and legitimate right, and this right must be seen as a guarantee of compliance by the other party.
