Falmouth has shown us, very clearly, that we cannot rebuild for the past, we must build for the future.
After the impacts of Hurricane Melissa, it is evident that our infrastructure must match today’s climate realities. We will modernize the town’s drainage system, using the drag line as a defining feature to both protect and enhance Falmouth.
We are reorganizing the town, preserving its historic waterfront, while building a stronger, more resilient civic center inland. This includes relocating Falmouth Hospital out of the flood zone and developing a modern urban hub to better serve our people.
Further south, we will unlock the full potential of Trelawny Multipurpose Stadium, transforming it into a world-class center for sports and economic activity.(Andrew Holness)
