The U.S. has submitted a total of 15 negotiation proposals to Iran via Pakistan. Just now, Iran confirmed receipt of the plan but has yet to comment on the proposals. When Trump first announced on Monday his intention to hold talks with the Islamic Republic, he hinted at wanting to reach an agreement by Friday. However, several Iranian officials stated they are not ready for negotiations and believe Trump is merely trying to calm the markets and push down oil prices. Currently, U.S. oil prices have slightly retreated.
