It is. Trading on insider information is illegal under the CFTC guidelines. Which applies to *all* sites with *any* US nexus, even if they are not American. The crime we see both in the stock market and offshore prediction markets is not from a lack of laws. It’s a lack of enforcement. Just yesterday reports highlighted how members of the SEC enforcement division had resigned in protest over not being able to pursue an investigation related to Trump’s family. Congress needs to empower the enforcement division of regulatory bodies to circumvent the political appointees and go straight to the committees when they are blocked on objective enforcement. Regulators enjoy subjective authority for interpretation. Clear fraud and abuse is not subject to that, and must have an avenue to be enforced.(Adam Cochran (adamscochran.eth))
