It's good to see MARA finally pivoting to AI (and possibly moving on some big partnerships) but their latest AI cloud wrapper product launch seems to land really flat. TL;DR why would anyone use this? It looks like it's multiples more expensive than Openrouter or going direct to Deepseek. It only has 3(?) models to choose from for now (compared to dozens for other models). Also I think that cloud inference is the a lower confidence business model for a massive hyperscaler like MARA, vs the powershell or Neocloud models. This *does* make sense if MARA continues to fully verticalize and doesn't intend for this to be used any time soon, but they want to at least have this product in their stack.(cbspears ◉)
