Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi instructed Trade Minister Ryosei Akazawa to conduct a full review of the country’s petroleum-related supply chains, including non-energy products like naphtha, as Japan copes with disruptions from the Iran war. Foreign Minister Toshimitsu Motegi and Defense Minister Shinjiro Koizumi attended the meeting.
