I remember trading in 2022-2023 and saying to myself 'I don't ever want to day trade another bear market again'. It was such a horrible experience. Well here we are. Except this time around I'm not trading out of a need to pay my bills next month. Times have shifted. The most difficult part abut this is that feeling of 'doing nothing'; that feeling of being unproductive. As men often times we feel like we need to keep doing, so we can accomplish something. I planned for this last cycle. Of having incredibly slow non-trading periods of the markets. But nothing prepares you for the actual moment (it's a big part of the reason I decided to open @Emporia_Capital, I want to stay focused and working on something). For full transparency since my absolute portfolio picotop I am down roughly 15%. Much better than last cycle. The picotop of a portfolio is fugazi and doesn't exist.(Gold)
