[Attacker Swaps Assets Extracted from Venus for ETH, Profits Around $4.72M] A few days ago, the attacker of Venus swapped the BNB, BTC, and CAKE extracted during the attack into ETH about 5 hours ago and bridged it to the Ethereum chain. In total, they converted 2,178 BNB, 20 BTC, and 1.466 million CAKE into 2,257.3 ETH (worth $4.72M). On-chain, they used $9.92M USDT to execute this attack and have now swapped it for approximately $5M worth of ETH. As for whether they coordinated any long/short trades on CEX to profit further from this attack, that remains unclear.
