[Iranian Foreign Minister Says Seeks to End War Completely Rather Than Temporary Ceasefire] Odaily Planet Daily News – According to a report by Japan's Kyodo News on the 21st, Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi stated that Iran hopes to end the war completely, comprehensively, and permanently, rather than agreeing to a temporary ceasefire. In a phone interview with a Kyodo News reporter on the 20th, Araghchi said that the attacks by the United States and Israel on Iran are acts of aggression that are illegal and unjustifiable, and he hopes the global community will unite to voice opposition. Several countries have already begun pushing for a ceasefire, but Iran is only considering solutions that would bring the war to a definitive end. Iran does not accept a temporary ceasefire but demands a complete end to the war, including guarantees that Iran will no longer be attacked and compensation for the losses Iran has suffered. Araghchi also stated that he does not believe the United States is prepared for negotiations. The report further mentioned that Araghchi expressed willingness to consult with Japan and allow relevant Japanese vessels to pass through the Strait of Hormuz, a critical energy transportation route.
