Crypto venture firm Electric Capital released a study showing that out of 501 real-world yield-generating assets analyzed, only 34 have an on-chain scale exceeding $50 million, with about 93% yet to be covered by DeFi. These assets are currently concentrated in U.S. Treasury bonds, private credit, corporate bonds, and other RWA assets. The report also highlighted that RWA tokenized asset ownership is highly concentrated. For example, the top 10 holders of BlackRock BUIDL control about 98% of the supply.
