**[U.S. Conditionally Eases Sanctions on Iranian Oil for 30 Days]** According to a report by Jinse Finance, on March 21, the U.S. Treasury Department announced that on March 20 local time, the U.S. approved a 30-day authorization to conditionally ease sanctions on Iranian oil. For Iranian crude oil and petroleum products that had been loaded onto ships as of March 20, their delivery and sale are permitted. U.S. Treasury Secretary Besant stated that the Treasury is issuing a "narrow-scope, short-term authorization" to allow the sale of Iranian oil currently stranded at sea. By temporarily releasing the existing oil supply, the U.S. will quickly provide approximately 140 million barrels of oil to the global market. The temporary, short-term authorization is strictly limited to oil already in transit. (CCTV News)
