[Trump Says Considering Gradual De-escalation of Military Actions Against Iran] According to Golden Finance, on March 21, U.S. President Donald Trump posted on his social media platform 'Truth Social' on March 20 local time, stating that as they consider gradually de-escalating major military actions in the Middle East targeting the Iranian regime, they are very close to achieving their established goals: completely weakening Iran's missile capabilities, launch systems, and all related facilities; destroying Iran's defense industrial base; eliminating Iran's naval and air forces, including air defense weapon systems. Iran must never be allowed to even come close to possessing nuclear capabilities. At the same time, the U.S. must always maintain a posture to respond swiftly and forcefully in the event of such a situation. With the highest level of intensity, the U.S. will protect its allies in the Middle East, including Israel, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Kuwait, and other nations. Trump stated that the guarding and patrolling of the Strait of Hormuz should, when necessary, be undertaken by other countries that use the strait, and the U.S. will no longer bear this responsibility. If invited to assist, the U.S. is willing to support these countries' operations in the Strait of Hormuz, but once the threat from Iran is completely eliminated, such assistance will no longer be necessary. Importantly, for these countries, this will be a relatively easy military operation. (CCTV News)
