Uniswap just launched a skill today called 'pay-with-any-token,' integrated with Tempo MMP, which will completely eliminate payment barriers between Agents. The basic idea is that when an AI Agent encounters a 402 payment requirement, Uniswap can automatically swap any token it holds into the token required by the other party. When interactions between Agents are no longer limited to USDC payments and more complex financial activities emerge, the significance of this will become apparent. This logic requires the Agent economy to develop to a prosperous stage, at which point DeFi can still claim a share of the dividends in the Agent space.
