[AlphaTON Capital Acquires 60% Controlling Interest in GAMEE for Up to $11 Million] According to Globenewswire, Nasdaq-listed TON Treasury company AlphaTON Capital has announced that it has reached a definitive agreement to acquire a 60% controlling interest in the gaming platform GAMEE for a transaction price of up to $11 million, which includes a two-year performance-based additional payment. GAMEE is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Animoca Brands, with a valuation of $18 million in this transaction. Under the terms of the acquisition agreement, AlphaTON Capital will take over the daily operational management of GAMEE and formally establish a strategic alliance with Animoca Brands, while prohibiting Animoca Brands from acquiring a controlling interest in AlphaTON Capital within the next two years.
