Odaily Planet Daily News: Rystad Energy states that if key energy facilities in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Qatar face threatening attacks, oil prices could immediately surpass $120 per barrel. The five facilities warned about by Iran collectively account for approximately 20% of global liquefied natural gas trade, 10% of Asia-Pacific naphtha imports, and 6% of global polyethylene production capacity—all concentrated in a region lacking short-term alternatives. Rystad Energy analysts noted: "If the statement from Iran's Tasnim News Agency materializes and these facilities in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Qatar are all attacked, at least 700,000 barrels per day of refined product capacity would instantly vanish from the global market, simultaneously impacting diesel, jet fuel, and naphtha supplies in these three countries." If critical infrastructure like Saudi Arabia's Yanbu Port were attacked, oil prices could even rise to $150 per barrel or higher. (Jin10)
